Elizabeth (“Liz”) Latino is a media relations expert who advises a multitude of brands throughout the real estate, consumer, lifestyle and not-for-profit sectors. She has served as a key advisor and day-to-day account lead, offering high-level counsel and strategic planning for her clients.
In 2010, Liz was a key member of the public relations team that lead the community relations and media relations efforts surrounding the successful passing of New York University’s expansion plan through New York City’s complex land use procedure.
In the consumer and lifestyle sector, Liz currently leads the public relations efforts for Chelsea Market – one of the most buzzed about indoor food halls in the world.
Additionally, Liz spearheads a variety of accounts within the real estate industry, including residential and commercial properties, developers, property owners and brokerages. This includes working directly with Cushman & Wakefield’s internal communications team on the firm’s public relations initiatives in the New York Tri-State region.
By drawing on her large network of media relations connections, Liz has garnered media placements across print, television, radio and digital platforms in top-tier publications and programs such as The New York Times, Good Morning America, The Wall Street Journal, SHAPE Magazine, Ad Age, Food Network, Eater, Fast Company, the New York Daily News, and the New York Post.
Since joining Marino in 2009, Liz has been instrumental in developing, growing and expanding the firm to its current capabilities. In addition to her account work, Liz is responsible for a range of activities related to internal employee relations, including staff development and staffing functions.
A graduate of Loyola University in Maryland, Liz holds a Bachelor’s in Communications. She lives in New Jersey with her husband, Anthony, their son, Hudson, and their rescue pup, Paisley.
