New York Post: “Technically, Brooklyn’s Booming”
Continuing a strong stream of positive coverage, The New York Post this noted this week that Brooklyn is quickly climbing to the forefront of New York City’s thriving innovation economy. As Rich Calder reports, this is thanks in large part to the work of The Downtown Brooklyn Partnership, in association with the Brooklyn Navy Yard and DUMBO Improvement District – a powerful trio which together comprise the Brooklyn Tech Triangle – who are reinventing the way people envision the borough of Brooklyn.
With Downtown Brooklyn rapidly expanding, residents and companies alike are flocking to the area to become a part of a truly innovative economy.
As quoted in the article: “We are seeing strong interest here, about three to four calls a week from new businesses,” said Thomas Conoscenti, the Downtown Brooklyn Partnership’s executive director for planning. “These companies especially love the mass transit.”
