WHAT: As the world’s largest retailer prepares for one of the most popular shopping days of the year, Walmart is offering an early glimpse of the preparations underway at its North Bergen, NJ store. Media are invited to talk to customers, shoot photos/b-roll and interview a company representative.

Walmart has unveiled its best Black Friday assortment ever, available during three special shopping “events” starting at 8 p.m. on November 22. The retailer plans to showcase hundreds of brand name electronics, toys, apparel, sporting goods and items for the home – all backed by Walmart’s Ad Match guarantee.

In addition to offering amazing low prices on the season’s top gifts, Walmart is taking the historic step of ensuring wishlist items like the Apple iPad®2 are available for customers during a special one-hour shopping event on Thanksgiving.

NOTE: Local media will not be permitted in-store access from Thursday, November 22 through Sunday, November 25. Regular media access will resume Monday, November 26.
