McDonald’s New York Metro Region Selects Marino PR as Agency of Record
Strategic communications firm expands its scope of work for McDonald’s in the Tri-State region
NEW YORK, NY – January 24, 2018 – Marino, a New York City-based strategic communications firm, announced that it has been named agency of record (AOR) for McDonald’s New York Metro Region, representing almost 100 franchisees and nearly 600 restaurants throughout the Tri-State area.
The firm – which has worked with the iconic brand since 2013 – recently increased its scope of work to drive awareness and offer positive messaging among key target audiences in the area, which includes McDonald’s restaurants in New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland Counties, Connecticut and northern New Jersey.

In 2017, McDonald’s unveiled its long-term global growth plan, focused on elevating the customer experience through new digital capabilities, convenience and service. As the brand executes its growth plan, Marino will play a role in sharing key milestones across the brand’s targeted audiences in the area.
Marino began its work with McDonald’s New York Metro Region in 2013 to launch a stakeholder engagement campaign in New York City. Over time, the scope of work has grown to include communications services, with Marino leading media efforts around the introduction of a new restaurant format in Manhattan in early 2017, and the launch of McDonald’s partnership with UberEATS to bring delivery to targeted areas of the region.
In addition to disseminating McDonald’s national news in the New York area, Marino will also continue its efforts to raise awareness around McDonald’s Operators as local faces of the brand throughout the region.
