Our History

Established in 1993, Marino originally concentrated its efforts in the areas of real estate, architecture and construction, legal services and community relations. We have since grown into a full service strategic communications firm. We’ve represented over 300 clients since our inception, ranging from international Fortune 100 companies to local non-profits.

NYU’s Polytechnic School of Engineering & Center for Urban Science and Progress drive NYC’s tech sector with the help of Marino

2013

McDonald’s hires Marino to represent them in the region

Derek Jeter’s Turn 2 Foundation taps Marino to promote the organization’s national programs

Marino hired by major developer TF Cornerstone as lead communications strategist to market, sell, and lease the company’s rapidly growing residential and commercial portfolio

Marino celebrates its 20th anniversary as a full service, street smart strategic communications firm

2012

#Marino continues a winning streak in providing communications services to clients successfully winning approval of major land use projects: NYU’s transformative campus expansion plan and Jamestown Properties’ major expansion of Chelsea Market.

Marino begins major rebranding initiative on behalf of Touro College.

2011

#Marino is retained by Cushman and Wakefield to help promote the historic One World Trade Center.

2010

Marino, represents Central Amusements International, helps to conclude the highly successful redevelopment of Luna Park at Coney Island.

2009

Marino represents the World-Wide Group in the sale of its high-end luxury condo complex at 255 East 74th Street – a rare successful real estate transaction of this type, given the ongoing credit and housing crises.

2008

#Marino opens first outer borough Morton’s Steakhouse.

2007

Coordinated US delegation visit to Italy cementing a “sister city” relationship between Staten Island and Crespina, Italy.

2006

REBNY, New York’s oldest and most prestigious trade organization, enlists Marino for rebranding.

2005

Marino helps Hudson Yards Coalition with Hudson Yards re-zoning, largest in NYC history at the time.

2004

#The world’s largest retailer, Walmart, selects Marino to launch a campaign to enter NYC.

2003

ConEdison Solutions hires Marino to build their brand as leading energy services company.

2001

#LCOR opens JFK Terminal 4 a $1.4 B private air terminal to throngs of international press with help from Marino.

2000

Marino leads community relations effort for Related Companies at Time Warner Center.

1999

#Silvercup Studio turns to Marino to position itself as the premiere northeast full service television & film studio.

Marino is tapped by Crain Communications to help rebrand three prominent publications: Crain’s New York Business, Advertising Age, and Business Insurance.

1995

#Retained by Home Depot to assist in the company’s regional expansion, Marino would go onto to launch 75 new Home Depots in the greater NY area and help Home Depot open its 1,000th store.

1993

#Frank Marino opens the doors at The Marino Organization.
