Vice President

Jordan Isenstadt joined Marino as a Vice President during the spring of 2016 bringing over fifteen years of experience in government, public affairs, higher education, non-profit, campaign management and strategic communications to the agency. At Marino, Jordan leads the higher education and technology practices, while also working with clients across a broad spectrum of market sectors. Some of Jordan’s clients include NYU Tandon School of Engineering, NYU Center for Urban Science & Progress, Touro College, the Hudson Square Connection, American Friends of Tel Aviv University, New York Medical College, Starrett Corporation, BRP Companies and Building and Construction Trades Council of Greater New York.

Prior to his arrival at Marino, Jordan served as the Global Chief Communications Officer for Ducere, an Australian digital learning start-up. With a vision to transform the education landscape, Ducere offered an innovative business and management curriculum based on the expertise of a Global Faculty of successful and inspiring world leaders. At Ducere, Jordan had the opportunity to work closely with the Global Faculty, including such luminaries as General David Petraeus, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Atari Founder Nolan Bushnell and former Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.

Jordan spent six years as Deputy Director of the Association for a Better New York (ABNY) where he supervised daily operations and worked closely with the organization's 300 member organizations. He also oversaw the planning and execution of ABNY’s well known “Power Breakfasts” featuring city, state and federal elected and public officials, including US Presidents, Cabinet Members, US Senators, US Congress Members, Governors, Mayors, etc., as well as business leaders and tech entrepreneurs. While at ABNY, Jordan also worked as a part-time consultant for Mayor Bill de Blasio’s TransitionNYC office.

Before ABNY, Jordan largely worked in New York State government serving as a New York City Press Officer to two New York State Governors. Earlier in his career, Jordan worked as the Communications Director to New York State Senator Liz Krueger of Manhattan and Chief of Staff to State Senator Toby Ann Stavisky in Queens. During his time in government, Jordan also gave considerable time to political campaigns throughout the state, including campaigns for Congress, State Senate, State Assembly and City Council.

Jordan is an active Board Member of Summer Search NY and New Yorkers Against Gun Violence, as well as on the Board of Advisors for No Longer Empty. He was also honored as a “Rising Star” by City & State in 2015. Jordan received his Bachelor’s Degree from Brandeis University and a Master’s in Public Administration from CUNY-Baruch College. Jordan lives in Long Island with his wife, Lauren, and their two children, Reese and Gavin.
