–Financial Services Employment Firm Takes Full Floor for HQ; Brings Building Occupancy to 98 Percent–

New York, NY – December 19, 2011 – Handler Real Estate Organization has arranged a long-term, 3,824-square-foot headquarters lease at 561 7th Avenue, with SearchOne Advisors LLC taking the entire 18th floor. With this latest lease, Handler brings its office building to 98 percent occupancy. 

SearchOne is a premiere financial services employment firm, matching top-tier candidates with hedge funds and private equity firms. SearchOne is scheduled to take occupancy at 561 7th Avenue in early spring 2012, pending construction on the space. They are relocating from 19 West 44th Street.

“SearchOne wanted a larger space in a more central location for its associates and candidates,” said Scott Galin, a Principal with Handler Real Estate Organization, who along with Peter Simel, represented Handler in-house as the building’s owner.

Located in Times Square South, 561 Seventh Avenue is an 81,214-square-foot office tower with 24-hour/7-day access, an attended lobby and on-site security. Galin noted that the building only has 1,500 square feet of remaining available space.

Erik Harris, of Newmark Knight Frank, represented the tenant in the transaction.
